Running out of time

OK, so we are down to the last couple days here. We have learned that my wifes ex-husband who only pays his child support when it's convenient has just bought a new house, has a kick ass IRA, and still thinks that it's not his fault we are so far behind because he only pays his support when he feels like it.

We are sick and tired of being screwed by everybody. Our last landlords kept our $750 depost, after we spent hours and hours cleaning, so we are suing them. Oregon law says that we can sue them for double, COOL. But we don't have that court date until Dec27th, we'll be far homeless by then. We are going to sue the wifes ex-husband for everything he owns and ruin his life just like he ruined ours.

Forgive and forget my ass. My whole life I have lived by forgive and forget, turn the other cheek and the meek shall inherit the earth. I'll inherit the earth all right, to sleep on. We have had it. We are down to survival of the fittest here, and all these people that have wronged us in the past are going to start getting their just desserts.

I am usually not vindictive, quite the contrary. I am usually known for being mellow and just letting things go. Actually this isn't even really a matter of vindication, it's a matter of I'm in the worst position of my life because I am just a stupid carpenter with a broken back. Even I could just magically walk out the door and build houses again, I still wouldn't get paid soon enough to save my ass anyway.

I've been screwed by so many contractors it's not funny. They are almost worst than landlords. I've been promised the moon, then asked to sign insurance waivers and sork for a shitty $8/hr. I have left those jobs immediately. But then your screwed because you have to go hunt down another job and tell them how the last guy was going to screw you.

It never ends. Why in the hell did I not listen to my old man. Because when your 16 you know it all. Your immortal, invinceable and you will be a rock star.
